Originally from the Chicago suburbs, Stephen Blood began dancing in a modern based program at New Trier High School. He continued his training at Northern Illinois University and graduated with a BFA in Dance Performance. He then danced on scholarship with Lou Conte Dance Studio under the direction of Claire Bataille. Stephen started his professional career with the Fort Wayne Ballet, where in addition to dancing, he choreographed several works on the main company. He now dances and continues to create work with Missouri Contemporary Ballet.
