Life Along the Mississippi

This 1 day in school program is inspired by the production of Liquid Roads and teaches students how the Mississippi River shaped American culture through a multidisciplinary program. MADCO provides elementary and middle school teachers with a study guide that that matches school curriculum and introduces students to the material. Six professional MADCO dancers and teachers perform "the best of" Liquid Roads followed by workshops that explore creative movement, the collaborative process, and making art from inspiration.
